What do I want my future to look like?

The Future
I envision myself in the future as a third grade teacher in an elementary school. I would have a colorful classroom with various encouraging messages displayed. On one side of the classroom there would be a mini library with books both on and above the third grade reading level, in case my students are feeling inspired and are interested in reading. The job will be challenging but I want the best for future generations to come so I will power through and remind myself that I am doing it for the children. While being a teacher, I would also be writing books on the side, trying my hand at both young adult novels and children's literature.
I would like to have a healthy lifestyle. I would like to do meal prep for my lunches. On some days I will pack a balanced meal with inspiration from food recipe blogs, on other days I will pack some arabic dishes I’ve learned how to make from my mom (because you can never have too much flavor), and every once in a while I’ll give myself a cheat day and allow myself to eat out. I prefer organization so I would like to keep my living space clean and fresh. In my living space I would have a designated area for yoga and pilates and some work out tools. I would like my space to look lived in so it gives off a homey feeling.
I would like to live in a community that is welcoming and accepting. I want to live surrounded by hospitable people who care not about my identity or where I may come from. In the place I live I hope there is a diverse group of people in every aspect of the word— diverse in thought, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
To achieve this, as a student I must CODA into the College of Education. I plan to maintain a GPA of at least 3.25. I want to join major specific clubs so I can begin to network. I want to get more involved in writing programs at NC State as well.
