Here is a tasty recipe I use myself when I write. Enjoy!

Thing's you will need

  • milk

  • two eggs

  • procrastination

  • measuring cup

  • random bouts of creativity

  • flour

  • salt

  • distractions

  • baking powder

  • sugar

  • a snickers bar

  • excuses

  • unsalted butter

  • the bulkiest pair of headphones you can find

  • vanilla extract.

How to make

STEP 1: In a bowl, mix your flour, salt, baking powder, and procrastination. Attempt to complete the writing assignment you have been given but after a lack of inspiration, give up and procrastinate it for a couple days.

STEP 2: In a second bowl, whisk together your butter, vanilla extract, and random bouts of creativity. Now that the deadline is a bit closer, inspiration begins to hit and you can start writing really good content in small intensive spurts. In between these quick minutes of inspiration sit and reflect on what you want this writing assignment to look like so you can begin to connect the good ideas you have already come up with.

STEP 3: In a third bowl, cream together some unsalted butter and sugar, then get distracted. Do not worry, these distractions come in the form of your cat (or another pet!), so the distraction is reasonable of course—who could resist those adorable faces?

When you are finally free from this distraction, another one comes your way! One of your favorite youtube channels, Hiho Kids, have uploaded a video! There’s also the video they uploaded yesterday but you did not get to watch, better catch up!

STEP 4: Now it’s time to take a break, grab your snickers bar and enjoy. You’ll also need to pull out your excuses when your friends and family ask why you are not working on your writing assignment. My personal favorite excuse is “I write best under pressure!”

STEP 5: Mix your three different bowls together by adding a third of each and mixing them together at a time. The deadline is fast approaching, put on your bulky headphones and get to work! (Here's my favorite album to listen to while I write.)

STEP 6: Bake! Cook up that delicious piece of writing and admire it when it is done.
