These images are "teaser" images for music soon to be released by Korean music group Loona. I will analyze these images using the elements of design and theorize about the music and music video that will be released.

This teaser image of Loona member, Heejin.
It was released here.
There is an automatic contrast with colors used in this teaser. The girl, Heejin is wearing black against a white background. The text is all in black so it can be noticed. The most important text is highlighted by size, it is the largest text on the image.
Despite the contrast between the black and white, the whole image has a very light value. She is dressed in a dark black but the overall image is very illuminated.
Given her facial expression and the elements of design used in this photo, it seems like she is possibly dangerous to mess with which is why she contrasts with the light background, but is trying to appear harmless and peaceful which is why the picture is illuminated.

This is another teaser for another member of Loona, Gowon.
It was released here.
In this photo, there is a contrast between Gowon and the background because she is also wearing black, but the background has texture, it is a glass door with a curtain, so she blends in with the background.
The text stands out because it is black in front of a white textured background. The most important text is large.
Unlike the first image, it is does not have a light value, it almost seems a bit blended and faded.
Given her facial expression, it seems as though she knows more than those who look at the image, she understands what is to come, and it lures you in.
What does this mean for the music and music video?
Given these images of the members, I would say the music video would look very elegant and pristine, but has hidden dark imagery. I think the song will be in between a cheery and tasteful sound. It will be a very unique and distinguished song that does not seem like it has a deeper meaning, but once you look closer it has many elements that makes it darker.
Their previous release, "Hi High" is somewhat similar to this, but I believe that this release will have darker themes.
